Three Types of prints Found at the Crime Scene

Ok so I messed up you wanted the three types of prints discovered at the crime scene.

First type of fingerprint is the latent fingerprint this fingerprint are invisible prints left at the crime scene that are not commonly noticed by plain eyesight. Some of these prints are left by a person touching a surface and leaving residue such as skin moisture or oil. These types of fingerprints once dusted can become very useful to the investigative team.

The second visible prints are left by a person smearing colored material around accidentally making impressions of their fingerprints at the crime scene such items as blood, ink, paint, grease or oil can possibly leave a fingerprint.

Plastic Print A fingerprint left in an impression on a soft surface such as wax, soap, putty, dust leave a partial or full fingerprint when exposed.

The most important part of the print is to properly label and preserve the print without damaging the integrity of it. Several for preserving fingerprints include first taking a photograph of the fingerprint evidence, second saving smaller prints with cellophane to transport with out damaging the fingerprint, third   Lift the print with adhesive tape carefully to make sure you do not damage the fingerprint.
