CSI Effect Does it Really Exist?

This is my opinion of CSI programming on TV although the want and need for Crime Scene Investigators has risen over the last ten years. TV gives the improper depiction of what Crime Scene Investigation involves.  I personally have stopped watching most all crime scene shows even though the technology is evident on the criminal shows lack of the back ground investigation processes that are unable to be shown simply because they are lengthy. Television shows do not depict processes that are performed by real world investigators because the TV show would have to be longer than the 30 minute to an hour episode. The want to be an investigator is evident  the CSI field takes an overall knowledge that is accumulated over time it is not a start up field, investigation of crime scenes involve a basic knowledge of world events and over knowledge of the criminal mind. This combined of what a CSI agent should look for on a crime scene DNA analysis, finger print, footprint, serology, weapons analysis, ballistics, object analysis all come under Crime Scene Investigation.

Understanding CSI is a fascinating area of police force work that holds value in real world circumstances of figuring out who, what, how, and why a crime has occurred. The study for such fields is tremendous the lack of overall knowledge keeps people out of the Crime Scene Investigation realm simply because the field takes much more study than other fields that my pay the same amount or better.

Court TV is a tremendous advancement that allows regular people to be able to see trails that are in progress the evidence process and questioning of witnesses is valuable to the Justice Department. Understanding the reason why an action may produced a criminal act is very interesting. The procedure of the lawyer and how they conduct themselves in court helps the public stay on guard against crime.  Other disappointing facts of the jury are high expectations of technology to prove the suspect to be guilty. This high expectation of the jury honestly makes the Crime Scene Investigation field one of the hardest fields in American society.
