Sony Hack

Take for instance the Sony Hacker problem that has cost Sony millions of dollars in revenue. Sony’s So-net is a leading gaming internet  share located at  http://us.playstation.com/ ,”the sign says Play station gaming site unauthorized” this shut down of their gaming network is costing Sony a whopping 170 million dollars  and not to mention the account information that has been compromised makes it one of the largest hacking attacks ever . How can we defend ourselves from the hacking of large databases like the Sony Play station user database that hosts millions of gamers around the world? What type equipment is needed to monitor the 24 by 7 gaming sites to make sure hackers do not get in? How large of staff will Sony have to hire to prevent hackers from compromising data that is valuable to the gamers and others?
